It is possible to create a webshop link where a discount code is already pre filled. Customers do not have to fill in the discount code and there is no chance that they fill in a wrong discount code. During the payment step in the purchase procedure the customer will see the discount code and the discount price.
To auto fill the discount code add this extension to the ticket shop link: &voucherCode=CODE
Where CODE is the discountcode. For instance: PROMOTOR
